After success with an Off-Broadway play, a writer moves to LA to make it in movies, but refusing to compromise his artistic vision has left him with no work, no money and no prospects. However, a British producer from back East who enjoyed the play, tracks the writer down, offering him $100,000 to re-write and direct one of the Producer’s films. One catch: It’s a Bollywood film. No other options, our hero goes on a musical adventure to India.
